"Researchers say that infertile men may have an increased risk of developing aggressive prostate cancer. A study of 22,000 Californian men who had been evaluated for infertility between 1967 and 1998 found that infertility increased their chances of being diagnosed with aggressive tumors 2.6 times. It remains unclear why this link exists, but it may help doctors identify which patients should be screened for the cancer.
